Assassin's Creed: Valhalla – Geirmund's Saga
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is an official tie-in novel of the video game by the same name by Matthew J. Kirby.[1] The book is an original story connected to the events of the game,[2] set around the Viking invasions of England during the late 9th century.
Kirby had previously written a trilogy of young adult Assassin's Creed novels – Last Descendants – with the final instalment, Fate of the Gods, featuring the Vikings of 10th century Scandinavia.
Behind the scenes
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla received untitled listings in online retailers days before the game of the same name was revealed.[3] A day after the game itself was revealed, fansite AccessTheAnimus reported the name of the novel and revealed its author and preliminary cover art.[1]
