Helen of Troy was a figure in Greek mythology, regarded as the most beautiful woman in the world.
She was said to have been married to King Menelaus of Sparta, but either eloped with, or was kidnapped by Prince Paris of Troy, causing the Trojan War.[1]
Menelaion was a sanctuary dedicated to her and her husband, King Menelaus.[1]
