Al-Khuraymat (Arabic: الخريمات) is a sandstone necropolis in northern Hegra. In the 860s, a quartet of robbers occupied it while they terrorized the al-Ula Valley. Shortly thereafter, a merchant whose caravans the robbers kept attacking put out an assassination contract on them. Passing through the area, the Alamut Hidden One Basim ibn Ishaq accepted the task, infiltrated the camp, and eliminated the group, ensuring that the robbers' deaths looked like accidents so as to avoid possible retribution against the merchant. While in the camp, he also recovered a clue pointing towards one of the robbers' hidden caches.
