Philadelphia was a village located in Faiyum Oasis, north of the city of Krokodilopolis, in the 1st century BCE.
History[edit | edit source]
In 48 BCE, Hotephres and his wife moved to an estate in the region following the death of their daughter Shadya.[1] After eliminating Berenike, a member of the Order of the Ancients responsible for Shadya's death, Bayek visited Hotephres at his estate and later Khenut by the river. Bayek helped both of them to deal with the corrupted Ptolemaic captain in the region, while also helping them move on from their daughter's death.[2]
