Muspelheim (Old Norse: Múspellsheimr), also known as Muspel (Old Norse: Múspell), was one of the Nine Realms of the Isu Era which Norse mythology considered to be the realm of fire and home of the jötunn Surtr.[1]

The Muspel lands were reputed to be the earliest of the realms to be established alongside Niflheim.[2]
