The ancient beacons were small hexahedron devices that worked in tandem with Odin's Eye to guide the user to their location.[1] They also worked as a sort of key, giving the user who found them parts of a password required to access certain Isu vaults, such as the Eden Ring Station.[2]

History
In the late 9th century, the Raven Clan jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir explored several different Isu tombs across England. While she was within these temples, the Isu artifact she had in her possession, Odin's Eye, "sang" to her, leading her to the beacons. When she picked up these objects, they made her utter different Isu words, much to her confusion.[2]
