The Malta Banking Corporation is a bank which forms part of the Abstergo Financial Group.[1] The name predates Abstergo Industries itself by at least a decade, with Templar Darius Gift posing as a Malta Bank clerk to deliver a package for the Order's Shanghai rite in 1927.[2]

On 15 September 2015, at a branch in San Diego, one of MBC's employees, Charlotte de la Cruz, transferred ten thousand dollars to the account of Ms. Morehead, after learning that Morehead's insurance would not cover her daughter's healthcare.
