Kensington is an affluent district in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in the West End of central London.
History
In 1851, during the Great Exhibition, the Aurora Equestrian Troupe was performing within a hippodrome at the Kensington Gardens. Within the final act, the French acrobat Pierrette Arnaud was successfully performing her finale until she realized a woman was being attacked by four men. Disrupting her act, she saved Countess Ada Lovelace and escorted her away safely from her assailants.[1]
Since at least 2016, Simon Hathaway has had a residential flat in the area. When returning to his flat in October after reliving the memories of his ancestor Gabriel Laxart for three days, Simon began exhibiting early symptoms of the Bleeding Effect and saw his ancestor manifest as his reflection.[2]
