The Solar floral regeneration project was a scientific project helmed by the Isu botanist Neokles that sought to aid with plant regrowth, after the over-picking of flowers. The project's headquarters were the Garden of Triton in Atlantis.[1]
Neokles first attempted to solve the issue by artificially pollinate the flowers, though this caused the soil to degrade.[2] At some point, his hypothesis was that using a natural power source stronger than the sun would promote sustainable growth and, to test this, Neokles had light-projecting devices installed around the gardens.[1]
The project was opposed by fellow scientist Melitta, who had seen Neokles' failed attempts and argued that nature could self-correct and that they should just "stop meddling". She once sabotaged one of Neokles' experiments by stealing the power source, but was caught.[2]
