Pharos was a small island located in northern Alexandria, Egypt, connected to the city via a bridge called the Heptastadion. The island was famous for the Lighthouse of Alexandria, which was also called "Pharos". Other landmarks include a temple dedicated to Isis, and a military storage site.

In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa escorted Lysander, a former priest of Serapis, to the Iseion on the island, as the latter was being hunted by the Phylakitai.[1]
