The Storyteller was an Egyptian man residing in Krokodilopolis during the 1st century BCE.
In 48 BCE, he recounted an exaggerated tale of how Aya and Phoxidas were victorious against a Gabiniani fleet on the Mediterranean Sea to his keen audience, which included the Medjay Bayek of Siwa, Aya's husband.[1]
