Olof Björnsson (died c. 975), or Olaf, was a King of Sweden during the 10th century. He was the older brother of his eventual successor, King Eric the Victorious, and the father of Styrbjörn the Strong and Gyrid.
A harsh ruler, Olof was killed by the Hidden Ones, who put poison into his meal. Allied with Eric, the Hidden Ones made sure that he was chosen as the new king instead of his nephew Björn, who was deemed to be too much like his father.
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
