Hillview Outpost

Hillview Outpost was an Anglo-Saxon military camp build along the River Dee in the southeastern part of the region, southeast of Crowder's Hut. It was was protected by a sizeable military force.

In the 9th century, it was raided multiple times by the Vikings Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, Vagn, and her longship crew.^[1]
