Crowder's Hut

Crowder's Hut was an Anglo-Saxon farmstead build along the River Dee east of the local monastery. It was protected by a few soldiers.

In the 9th century, it was raided multiple times by Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, Vagn, and their raiding crew on his longship.^[1]
