Paanchi
Paanchi was a member of the Hidden Ones who served alongside Tahira in the Sinai during the reign of Cleopatra.
Biography[edit | edit source]
In 38 BCE, the Hidden One Mentor Bayek travelled to the bureau in the Klysma Quarry in order to assist Tahira against the Romans.[1] Paanchi, alongside Kashta, was the first to greet Bayek upon his arrival at the Klysma bureau.[2]
Shortly after Bayek was briefed on the situation,[2] Paanchi reported that one of their fellow Hidden Ones, Osorkon, had gone missing for two weeks while being tasked to survey the quarry. He directed Bayek to a merchant ship at the docks, where Osorkon had last been seen.[3]
Following the destruction of the Klysma bureau,[4] Paanchi and the rest of the Hidden Ones moved from the village to the mountains of the Arsinoe Nome. After the death of the Order of the Ancients member Rufio, Paanchi and the Hidden Ones were briefed by Bayek and Amunet as they laid down the tenets of their creed.[5]
Around this time, Paanchi got into contact with local farmers in order to acquire bales of hay and carts for Leaps of Faith.[1]

Paanchi shares the same name with the Kushite king later known as Piye, who founded Egypt's 7th century BCE Nubian Dynasty.
