Oasis Lookout Rock was a sandstone outcrop northwest of the Farmer's Quarter, in AlUla Oasis. In the 860s, during Basim ibn Ishaq's time in the region, he climbed the rock to better orient himself, taking note of other landmarks from above.^[1]
