Aset was an Egyptian woman living in the Faiyum, Egypt, during the 1st century BCE.

According to a protestor, Aset's daughter was promised in marriage, but Aset couldn't afford the wedding, and both of them had ended up begging for food in the Euhemerian slums by 48 BCE.[1]
