The Sunken Temple of Pnepheros was located west of Karanis, Egypt, during the 1st century BCE.
It was dedicated to the crocodile gods Pnepheros and Sobek, and was partially submerged in the Lake Moeris.
In 48 BCE, while hunting down a man called The Butcher, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa visited the ruins.[1]
