Stoa Poikilè, or the Painted Stoa was a stoa near the agora of Athens in Attika, Greece.

Named for the panels depicting the sack of Troy, painted during the 5th century BCE by Polygnotos, the stoa was a place favoured by philosophers. One of them, Zeno of Kition, used the stoa so extensively that his school of philosophy became known as Stoicism.[1]
