Skinny Joe
| They call me many things: Murderer. Cutthroat. Thief. But you may call me Skinny Joe. This article is about a subject that lacks an official name and is known only by its nickname, title, or alias. |
Skinny Joe was a rioter who took part in the draft riots in 1863. The day before the riots, the American Templar Cudgel Cormac exited the Hole-in-the Wall pub where he worked undercover as its bartender and told Joe to drive William Tweed's slave-servant Abraham back to Tweed's house.[1] During the drive, they discussed the riots to come. The next day, Skinny Joe took a significant role in the riots,[2] during which Abraham was beaten to death.[3]
