Pandaros
Pandaros was an archer who lived in Krete, Greece during the Peloponnesian War.
Biography
Pandaros formerly worked as an archer during the 5th century BCE. When the Peloponnesian War broke out, Pandaros came across the Followers of Ares, a cult who worshipped the god of war Ares. Pandaros joined the cult thinking he could make a quick buck, but found himself in a faction where numerous murders and sacrifices were conducted. While stationed in the Cave of Rhea, Pandaros attempted to desert but was discovered. As a consequence, he was stripped of his clothing and valuables, including an amulet heirloom left by his mother. He was then tied up and left outside of the cave to be eaten by vultures or wolves.[1]
Fortunately for Pandaros, the misthios Kassandra came across him while journeying across Krete. After Kassandra defeated a pack of wolves, Pandaros was freed by her and directed her to the cave where his amulet and trinkets were stored in. He also made an offer to work under the misthios should she ever be interested.
