Omphalos is the central point of the world in Greek mythology, believed to be the 'navel' of the world in the form of a round stone.

In the Greek mythology, the Titan Kronus devoured his children in order to prevent any of them from usurping him. At one instance, his wife Rhea gave him the Omphalos instead of the baby Zeus.[1]
