Olof Björnsson

Olof Björnsson, or Olaf (died c. 975), was a King of the Svealand during the 10th century. He had a brother, Eric the Victorious, and was the father of Styrbjörn the Strong and Gyrid.

A harsh ruler, Olof was killed by the Assassin Brotherhood who put poison into his meal. Allied with Eric, the Assassins made sure that he was chosen as the new King by the Thing instead of his nephew Bjorn, who was too much like his father.

Trivia

He is an ancestor of Sean Molloy, a 21st century teenager working for the rogue Templar, Isaiah.
