Nebefer was an Egyptian woman living in Letopolis in 48 BCE. Like other settlers, among them Nehi, she had found old hieroglyphs in her chosen home.^[1]

The Medjay Bayek of Siwa solved the hieroglyphs, after talking to Nebefer and the others. Nebefer told him that Nehi would "be cute if he didn't look like he was always about to cry."^[1]

After Bayek told Nehi what he'd discovered about the hieroglyphs, Nehi wondered if Nebefer would share his plans of leaving.^[1]
