Lokris was a region situated in Northern Greece. Though barely inhabited, it was the center of Greece's salt industry in the 5th century BCE which became highly contested during the Peloponnesian War.
A relatively small region in itself, Lokris boasted only two towns: Alponos in the White Crystal Hills and Opous in the Red Lake Bay.[1]

- Of the three regions named Lokris in antiquity, the region in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey corresponds with Opuntian (Eastern) Locris.
- The emblem of Lokris features the head of a griffin, a common motive in Lokrian coins of antiquity.
