Helios

Helios is the personification of the Sun and a Titan in Greek mythology, preceding Apollo as the god of the sun. His Roman equivalent is Sol.

Like Apollo, Helios also had a sister connected with the moon, Selene.

The sun was believed to be a flaming chariot, which Helios rode across the sky.^[1]
