The Hekate Witch was a priestess of Hekate and witch who lived during the Peloponnesian War.

During said conflict, the witch was one of the individuals who attended a gathering in Seriphos organized by Aetios, a scion of a wealthy family from Keos. There, she and the other girls sought to catch Aetios' eye and become his wife, gaining his riches and wealth. Later, she attempted to trick Kallikleia, one of her competitors, into a love potion scheme, plotting to secure Aetios for her own instead.[1]
