Aegea was a queen of the Amazons in Greek mythology.

Biography

During the Trojan War, Aegea was one of those who joined the Greeks against the Trojans. Along the journey at sea, her fleet was interrupted by a ship battle, which resulted in the deaths of the her fellow Amazons. Aegea herself survived, having being found by the Isu Poseidon, who carried her to the shores of Elysium, a realm ruled by Persephone.[1]

After being transported to Elysium, Aegea was given the lands of Deukalion's Heritage and became corrupted by Persephone's influence. She was then placed in charge of the region, ruling from the Fortress of the Three Sisters. Aegea was ultimately freed after being killed by the misthios Kassandra, who came to Elysium to master the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus.[2]
