Dagnor was a Norseman who lived in Stavanger in the 860s. In 866, he met with Thorsteinn Silvertongue, who was investigating a rival named Bjorn for his accusations against his honor. Dagnor revealed that he helped Bjorn carry some damp crates from Nottfall and the crates smelled disgusting and of wet wool. Thorsteinn thanked him for his help before leaving to continue his investigation.[1]
