Andras
Andras was an Athenian soldier who served under Rhexenor during the Peloponnesian War.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Around 424 BCE, Andras was assigned by Rhexenor to distract the actor Thespis and get him drunk to miss his rehearsal performance of Aristophanes' play, which sought to tarnish the reputation of general Kleon.[1]
Andras and his antics were discovered by the misthios Kassandra, who learned of their and Thespis' whereabouts from an Athenian guard. Kassandra was able to convince Andras and his guards to leave, allowing her to carry the drunken Thespis back to his home.[1]
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- If Kassandra paid Andras, he and his guards would no longer harass her and Thespis.
- After that, they can later be found near the Agora of Athens.
- If Kassandra chased Andras away, he and his guards would later confront Kassandra outside Thespis' home, forcing her to defeat them.
- Andras has a unique avatar when viewed by Ikaros. He can be knocked out and recruited as a lieutenant for the Adrestia. Similarly, while his guards are all regular avatars for soldiers in the Athenian military, they are all epic, a fairly rare thing to come upon.
