Remetch Ra was a rebel hideout located within the Isolated Desert in Egypt. Hidden inside a mountain, several rebels, including a blacksmith, called the hideout home.

History

Around 47 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa visited the hideout. Recognizing Bayek as a Medjay, Nawa, one of the rebels, requested his help in locating two children who had run off in search of Alexander the Great's treasure. Two rebels had gone looking for the children, but had been captured by Ptolemy XIII's soldiers and were held at Camp Hetoimazo. Bayek saved the rebels and learned that the children were either at Alexander the Great's temple or at Theos Elpis Rift, another rebel camp.[1]

After rescuing one child at the temple, Bayek was informed that the other was headed to Theos Elpis Rift. Bayek made his way to the camp, only to find that it was being raided by Ptolemy's soldiers. After dispatching them, he spoke to the rebel Sebni and learned that the child had been taken to Pissa Oros Citadel by one of Ptolemy's commanders, Medon.[1]

After killing Medon and his bodyguards, Bayek searched for the second child at the citadel, finding her hiding in the back of a cart of hay, waiting to escape. With Bayek taking the cart's reins, they left the outpost and headed back to Remetch Ra to regroup with the other rebels. There, the rebels thanked Bayek for the rescue of the children and their comrades and for killing Medon.[1]
