The Vault of Splendors was a guarded room within the Butcher's residence located in Faiyum, east of Soknopaiou Nesos during the 1st century BCE.
In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa came upon the place when he was investigating the murders of farmers that lead him to a guarded storehouse, which was connected to the vault.[1]
