Artemis was a friend of Phanos in Alexandria, Egypt, during the 1st century BCE.
Apparently one of the 'muses' of Phanos, Artemis was present at a party he'd thrown as some of Gennadios' Phylakitai attacked his house. Phanos had to admonish her for throwing fruit, reminding her that parties weren't "the time for (her) target practice".[1]
