The Shipwreck of Nestor was a shipwreck allegedly belong to Nestor, the legendary King of Pylos and Messenia. It was located next to a small island south of Messenia.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found the shipwreck and claimed its treasures, among them a figurehead featuring snakes for the ship Adrestia.[1]
