Qin Shi Huangdi (259 BCE – 210 BCE), also known as Qin Shi Huang for short, and born as Ying Zheng or Zhao Zheng, was the first emperor of China and the founder of the Qin dynasty.

In 221 BCE, as King of the Qin, he conquered all of the other kingdoms, ending the Warring States period and reuniting China for the first time in six centuries. With his victory, he inaugurated the first Empire of China.[1] During his reign, proto-Templars assisted Qin Shi Huang with political and economic reforms, as well as constructions such as the Great Wall of China.[2]

Due to his tyranny,[2] he was eventually killed in 210 BCE by Wei Yu, considered one of the first proto-Assassins, who stabbed the Emperor with a spear during one of his eastern China tours.[3]
