Pharos was a small island located north of Alexandria. On the island was built the Lighthouse of Alexandria, Iseion, and Pharos Military Storage. [1]

In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa escorted a priest of Serapis, Lysander, hunted by the Phylakitai of Alexandria, to Iseion on the island.[2]
