By 47 BCE, Metrobius was based in Cyrene where he was scheduled to perform with a play at the amphitheater with other actors. As one of those who frequent the brothel in the city, Metrobius became a target of the serial-killer Vesta, whose mother was shunned by her father due to her status.[1]
While practicing at the amphitheater, Metrobius was killed when Vesta unleashed a lion upon him. By the time the Medjay Bayek arrived to investigate, he found what's left of Metrobius' devoured remains.[1]
