Master Templar, previously known as Maegester,[1] is a rank achieved by members of the Templar Order, which serves as an equivalent to their counterparts in the Assassin Order.

Master Templars in modern times are granted the privilege of accessing the Inner Sanctum of the Templar Order, and involving themselves in top secret affairs, as well as joining the Operations division of Abstergo Industries.
