Aya

Aya was a Greco-Egyptian agent to Cleopatra VII, the last pharaoh of Egypt. Trained in the arts of the Medjay, she was the wife of the Medjay Bayek.

Biography

Half-Greek and half-Egyptian, Aya was born in Alexandria and moved into the home of her husband, the Medjay Bayek, in Siwa during her youth. She grew up training in the ways of the Medjay herself, eventually becoming an agent for Queen Cleopatra VII.[1] Her loyalty to Cleopatra strained her marriage with Bayek, but their union would prove pivotal to the formal birth of the Assassin Brotherhood.[2]
