The Libyan Rite of the Templar Order is the branch of the Templar Order that based in Libya that has been in operation since the 16th century.
History
In 1511, the Templars abducted Spanish military engineer and general Pedro Navarro in Tripoli after he had been visited by Ottoman Assassins sent by Italian Mentor Ezio Auditore. However, the Assassins managed to locate and rescue Navarro, who subsequently informed them that the Templars were being commanded from Rhodes. Afterwards, the Assassins cut off the Templars' supply and communication lines and expelled them from the city.
