The Kibotos Arsenal was a military garrison and arsenal located within Alexandria, Egypt, during the late Ptolemaic period.
In 48 BCE, the Phylakitai Gennadios issued an order to the soldiers of the garrison to look for Aya who was wanted for killing Actaeon and Ktesos, two members of the Order of the Ancients.[1]Separately, the soldiers imprisoned a drummer from the Serapeum of Alexandria who was accused by his superior, the tanner Theon, for stealing a lionskin.[2]
Lysander, the priest of the Sarapeion, enlisted the help of the Medjay Bayek of Siwa to free the drummer from the arsenal, and he succeeded in this.[2]
