Hyena Lair was a cavern inhabited by hyenas and the member of the Order of the Ancients known as The Hyena, Khaliset, in the western hills of Giza during the 1st century BCE.

Sometime after Khaliset lost her daughter, Eshe, she begun gathering silica and haunt the desert of Giza, all those who passed there. When she wasn't out hunting, either for men or for silica, she kept to the Lair, keeping her prisoners in a cage until she fed them to her hyenas, or sacrificed them in an attempt to resurrect her daughter, Eshe.[1]

In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa found the place, and investigating it, picked up the Hyena's tracks.[1]
