Heine was an escaped bondsman and warrior active in the late 10th century Sweden.

Heine was part of a company with four other escaped bondsmen. Among them was Boe Björnsson, whom he had a particular disaffection for after Boe broke his nose, and they regularly traded barbs and, on one occasion, blows. While the group camped near Uppsala, he slit Björnsson's throat and fled.[1]

Heine was pursued by Hidden One Thorvald Hjaltason, who sought to discover who was attempting a rebellion against Eric the Victorious. Thorvald broke Heine's back and left him there to warn the other bondsmen that he would be hunting them.[1]
