The Graben is one of the notable streets in Vienna, Austria.
History
By 1852, the Irish Assassin Oscar Kane resided an apartment complex on the Graben. Former soldier Simeon Price, using the alias "Jack Straw," soon found Kane, who talked with him and divulged the nature of the Assassin and their Creed. After a conversation between them, Kane soon offered to mentor Straw and accommodated a living arrangement for his new apprentice.[1] Price learned more about the Assassins' history, their creed, and their war with the Templars, while conducting business services for Kane's work. Kane also provided books to enhance his apprentice's education and soon gave him a task. The task was for Straw to observe twelve people secretly atop the street of Graben and then investigating their personal ongoings, to which Price succeeded in doing.[2]
After the baron's party, Kane and Price traveled back to their home laboratory as Kane told his apprentice to let János Libényi know of Karl Mayr's passing.[3] After a series of events, especially János' attempt on the Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria[4], his death, and Kane's ambiguoity[5] Price returned Kane's book to his home and left the apprenticeship to find some answers about himself and the new problem of the "Magus."[6]
