Alcandros was a Greek man who lived in Cyrene during the 1st century BCE.

He was a friend of Dymnos, the Master of Arms employed at Apollodorus' estate in 48 BCE, as well as some sort of criminal, according to his letter to Dymnos.[1]

Trivia

  • The name Alcandros is derived from Greek αλκη (alke) and ανδρος (andros), meaning 'strength of man'.
