AlUla Market was an open air market in Al-Ula, northwest of the Masjid Al'Itham mosque. In the 860s, the Alamut Hidden One Basim ibn Ishaq visited the market to gather information on his father Ishaq's whereabouts, following the advice of the merchant Nimlot, who called it the "heartbeat of AlUla".[1] There, he spoke with a merchant, who warned him against venturing towards a section of the market where illicit business occurred. Having seen one of the robbers he sought leaving such location, he followed the man out of the market.[2]
