The Zephyros Stables was an estate, owned by Philocrates, located southwest of Kanopos.
History
During the mid 1st century BCE, the estate was under the ownership of Philocrates, who lived with his son Nikias and used it to train horses for the Prasina Green racing team.[1]
In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa visited the stables following an earlier meeting with Nikias at a tavern, because he was curious to try out chariot racing. At the stables, Bayek was introduced to Philocrates, who requested the Medjay take his son for a run around the town.[2]
During their absence, a group of bandits hired by the Veneta Blue stole Saganaki, one of Philocrates' horses. After they returned, Philocrates sent Bayek and Nikias to retrieve the horse from the bandits in the Als Hideout.[2]
