The Valley of the Kings is a valley in Egypt which served as a necropolis for numerous pharaohs of the New Kingdom. The valley is located a little in-land from the western bank of the Nile, beyond the village of Set-Ma'at and opposite Thebes.
In 34 BCE, a Mentor of the Hidden Ones, Bayek, travelled to the valley, where he accessed the tombs of Akhenaten, Nefertiti, Ramesses II, and Tutankhamun in order to lift a "curse" that was plaguing Thebes.
