They call me many things: Murderer. Cutthroat. Thief. But you may call me The Stranger.

This article is about a subject that lacks an official name and is known only by its nickname, title, or alias.

The Stranger (died 48 BCE) was a member of the Phylakes, a paramilitary force that served as bounty hunters for the pharaoh Ptolemy XIII during the mid 1st century BCE.

In 48 BCE, The Stranger and the Phylakes were issued orders to hunt down the Medjay Bayek of Siwa following his assassination of the Phylakitai Gennadios in Alexandria, an action which branded him a wanted target. While patrolling the city of Memphis, The Stranger encountered and was killed by Bayek in combat, who then took a spear and an ornamented key from his body.[1]
