The Sons of Ivaldi were a group comprised of fugitive dwarves that worked against the forces of Surtr during the Isu Era. Named in order to conduct themselves with the intelligence of their namesake, the master blacksmith Ivaldi, they were active in Svartálfaheimr around the time of the Great Catastrophe. Millennia later, the rebel group would be remembered in Norse mythology as the actual children of Ivaldi.[1]
